Mr. Toru Yoshioka
Director
Mr. Toru Yoshioka joined Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. (MHI) in the year of 1998 and started his career in overseas sales and marketing of power systems, in MHI Nagasaki Shipyard & Machinery Works. From 2000 to 2002, he had been appointed as Administrative Manager of Full Turn Key project in Saudi Arabia.
In 2002, he moved to international sales & marketing department in MHI Power Systems HQ and was in charge of Middle East & West Asia power systems business.
In 2008, after having returned to overseas sales & marketing group in MHI Nagasaki in 2005, he had been appointed as Deputy General Manager of Marketing Department of L&T-MHPS Turbine Generators Pvt. Ltd. (current L&T-MHI Power Turbine Generators Pvt. Ltd.) and worked in India for approximately 4years for the establishment of LMTG and getting the first several orders of super critical power plant projects in India.
After coming back to Japan, he had been appointed as group manager of international business group of Nagasaki factory of MHI Power (MPW) in 2015 and engaged in the alliance business with overseas companies like LMTG and L&T-MHI Power Boilers Pvt. Ltd..
He is now the group manager of Project Business Group of Nagasaki Power Systems Service Department, Mitsubishi Power, Ltd. and has been in charge not only for alliance business but also for the sales and marketing of overseas service projects for steam power plant.
Mr. Yoshioka holds a Bachelor of Economics from Hitotsubashi University, Japan.
