Dr. Dharmendra Kumar Shrivastava has over 30 years of rich experience across various industries covering Fertilizers & Chemicals, Hydrocarbon, Oil & Gas and Power. He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at L&T-MHI Power Boilers (LMB) and as the Chief Executive & Whole-Time Director of L&T-MHI Power Turbine Generators (LMTG).
Previously, he held the position of Chief Executive & Whole-Time Director at L&T-MHI Power Boilers (LMB) and also served as Chief Executive of L&T Howden. Prior to leading L&T Howden, he was working as General Manager in L&T Power.
He has been a Convener of a pan L&T Quality Council comprising 23 Business units. He also worked as Head, Quality, LMB.
In his previous role in LMB, Dr. Shrivastava played a key role in the technology transfer from JV partner Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for fabrication of boiler components, established quality systems in the Boiler Division, covering manufacturing facilities of Boiler, Pulveriser, Heavy Castings, Vendor Components Quality, Site Quality & Safety, and Technical training.
Before joining L&T, Dr Shrivastava worked in Bureau Veritas, Lanco Power EPC group and was responsible for Project Quality & Systems Management.
Dr. Shrivastava holds a Post Graduate Degree in Machine Design from BIT Sindri & PhD from IIT Delhi in Applied Mechanics. He has extensive domain experience of Techno-commercial aspects of projects, estimation, vendor development and business development.
